Twilight Tattoo is an hour-long, live-action military pageant featuring Soldiers from The 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) and The U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own." Experience a glimpse into American history through performances by The U.S. Army Blues, vocalists from The U.S. Army Band Downrange and U.S. Army Band Voices, The Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, and The U.S. Army Drill Team.
Join Gen. Mark A. Milley, the 39th Chief of Staff of the Army, for a special "Salute from the Chief" Twilight Tattoo program to recognize four Americans for their outstanding service in support of the United States Army.
This special Twilight Tattoo will recognize four Americans for their outstanding service in support of the United States Army. The Outstanding Civilian Service Award, the third highest medal that the Department of the Army can bestow upon a private citizen, will be presented to the following:
Ted Leonsis, founder, chairman, and CEO of Monumental Sports & Entertainment; Earl Morse and Jeff Miller, co-founders of the Honor Flight Network; Jaspen (Jas) Boothe, president and founder, Final Salute, Inc.
The "Salute from the Chief" has contributed to a network of supporters for the Army, Soldiers, and their families with awardees contributing to Soldier for Life initiatives.
This special Twilight Tattoo program is scheduled for 7 p.m., Monday, October 15, at Conmy Hall on Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Virginia.
The show is FREE and open to the public and no tickets or pre-registration is required.
Our 2019 Twilight Tattoo season is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, and run through Wednesday, July 31, with exception to July 3 and July 10, 2019. There will be no Twilight Tattoo scheduled for July 3 and 10. Please note that Twilight Tattoo is also scheduled for Thursdays from May 9 through June 13. This means for six weeks there will be a Twilight Tattoo on Wednesday and Thursday. If you'd like to register a group to attend Twilight Tattoo please e-mail us.
